Are contractors required to keep sediment out of city streets and drains?
Yes. Code Enforcement performs initial and follow up BMP (best management practice) inspections on permitted construction and land development sites to ensure sediment and erosion controls are in place and functioning. Building Inspectors also evaluate BMPs when conducting construction inspections.
